I'm too old for these wild nights...

Well last night at midnight was the release of the New Moon dvd. Guess where I was at midnight? Yep, me and the girls were at Walmart in line (#6) to get our copy of the dvd. We got home about 12:45 and of course then we had to watch it. It ended at 3:30 a.m. I should have been in bed 4 hours ago at that point. I am too old to stay up that late. Today I am a zombie. But it was fun and Shanae was so excited to get out of the house and down to Utah County so we could start our girls night out. It is fun hanging with the girls and getting so tired that I seemed a little drunk at McDonalds and had Megan a bit concerned. It was all good though and we had fun. The girls were made, by me, to take pics with Edward and Jacob cardboard cutouts. They are cute.

The boys were supposed to go to a movie today and have boys day out, but Tyler has pink eye and is contagious until tomorrow (when he hits the 24 hour mark of being on antibiotic eyedrops). Poor kid, he has been miserable. He keeps trying not to touch anything and we keep reminding him to stay away from us. Love ya anyway Tyboo.

Well, I seriously need to get back to my house cleaning. It is a never ending job.

October 5, 2008

We just love autumn. The colors this year have been so incredible. I took Megan, Shanae, and Cameron up Provo canyon a couple of weeks ago and we had a lot of fun trying to get some pictures. The camera batteries were near dead so we weren't very successful. But the colors were so mesmerizing that the trip itself was worth it. Shane and I both drive up there for work. He works as a bakery manager in Kamas and I work at the hospital in Heber. We hope to get moved up there as soon as we can and make that our home. Right now we live in Cougar territory, which is ironic because Shane is an avid Utes fan. Go figure! It is fun living in Provo though. The girls especially love living right by the MTC and going to oggle the cute missionaries (the elders of course!).

Shane and I just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. Boy the time does go by fast!!!! I am homeschooling Megan and Shanae this year. They are doing a lot of it on the computer and I am enjoying doing a lot of the instruction and taking them on our field trips. Tyler is in 4th grade and Cameron is in kindergarten. Cameron has a girlfriend named Mirriam. She is planning for them to get married, he is clueless and just shows up for the sheer entertainment of her chasing him all over the playground. What a girl magnet he is! Tyler has given girlfriends up for now and is doing very well in school.

Shane is loving football season and keeps the remote in hand to keep up with all the games and sports shows. He has no clue that there is anything else on tv right now. He won't be going hunting this year, that is a bit of a bummer for him. We'll have to "shoot" for next year.
